    For the first time Brentwood Recreation will be offering pickup basketball for boys & girls this summer from July 14th- August 18th. Boys & girls that are in grades 3rd-8th will play on Wednesdays from 5:30pm-7:00pm. Any coaches looking to run skills, drills, and/or games are encouraged to reach out to the Recreation Department. Below is a list of what players will need to bring to participate. 


    • Sneakers
    • Dark & Light-colored shirts (for scrimmages)
    • Water

    Games are played at the Brentwood Community Center Basketball Court and volunteers are welcomed. There is no cost to sign up, but players still need to register with the Recreation Office. You can register through the Brentwood Recreation website or at the Recreation Office.

    For the first time ever Brentwood Recreation will be offering pickup lacrosse for boys & girls this summer from July 13th to August 19th. Girls that are in grades 3rd-8th grade (21-22 school year) will play on Tuesdays from 5:30pm-7:00pm  playing on a full size lacrosse field. Both boys and girls must provide their own equipment and prior playing experience is encouraged. Here is a list of required equipment that boys and girls must bring to participate.


    • Eye Protection (lacrosse goggles)
    • Women’s Lacrosse Stick
    • Mouth Guard
    • Dark & Light Shirt (or reversible pinny)

    Games are played at the Brentwood Community Center Fields and volunteers are welcomed. Cost to attend pickup lacrosse is $30 ($5 a week) and the fee can be paid through the registration link below. Goalie players play for free but still need to register through the Brentwood Recreation website or at the Brentwood Rec office.

    Fall Youth Field Hockey 

    This program is structured to introduce the fundamentals for the game of Field Hockey and build on existing fundamentals. This is an, "In-house" program and we may play other towns in scrimmages if schedule and availability allows it. This program will be mostly for the enjoyment of the game, skill development, and learning the rules. 

    Starts Date TBA

    Practices located on the lower baseball field at the community center

     (Additional weekend scrimmages  maybe offered)

    Coed grades K-6. $45 per child (includes use of sticks)

    $35 per player that returns their jersey from a previous
    Parents/Guardians are responsible for their child's mouth piece and shin guards

    Registration open to residents & non residents


    Brentwood Recreation will still offer field hockey for this spring and will adopt new safety regulations due to the Covid-19 Virus. If field hockey needs to be cancelled due to the Corona Virus the Recreation Department will notify all participants and will refund all families.

    Brentwood Summer Camp
    Join us for a summer filled with friends, activities, and fun in the sun!

    Non-Resident registration opens Monday, March 1st


    Dates: June 21st - August 20th (9 weeks) *NO CAMP ON MONDAY, JULY 5th 

    Times: 9:00am-4:00pm.  After Care: 4:00pm-5:30pm. *Note: After Care is additional fee

    Location: Brentwood Recreation Complex.

    Grades: Children entering grades 1-6th (2021-2022 school year)

    Covid 19 Update: Please refer to the parent handbook to look at the changes to summer camp relating to the Covid-19 Virus. Due to the virus spots are limited. Please contact the recreation office with any questions or concerns.

    Registration:  You can register online along with the $100 deposit to hold your spot in camp. This is for weekly or full summer participants only. All single day registrations must be completed at the recreation office. All other payments must be paid at the recreation office by June 1st. (spots are limited)

    Activities:  Include water & non water games, arts & crafts, team building activities, and much more!

    Field Trips: The Recreation Department is currently planning on having field trips this. With that said the Recreation Director will continue to monitor the status of Covid-19 and if we feel that it becomes unsafe to go on trips, then we will cancel field trips as necessary and will reimburse families.

    Adult Pick-up Pickleball 

    Thursdays, 6:00-8:00pm.

     Adult Pickleball will be offered again in the gym at the Brentwood Community Center Basketball Court. No experiences is necessary! Rec. Dept. will provide paddles if you do not have one. This is a low-impact, easy to learn, and extremely fun sport to play, at any age! Pickleball is a combination of tennis, badminton, and racquet ball. You can play singles, but is mostly played in doubles. Come try it out! No registration fee.

    Yoga Movement for Seniors!


    Join us at the Brentwood Community Center Tuesday mornings for this FREE class! This gentle movement class helps seniors improve range of motion, flexibility, balance, and will help relieve your aches and pains, all in the comfort of a chair. No experience necessary. This is a great social activity too! Classes are 10am-10:45am

    All classes are now open! The Recreation Department will continue to monitor and update it's Covid-19 protocols on a daily basis and if classes need to be cancelled due to Covid-19 the Recreation Director and the Yoga Instructor will notify you. Please email the recreation director with any questions or concerns.

    Tang Soo Do is a Korean Martial Art comprised of both hard and soft techniques. It emphasizes whole body physical training. It’s beneficial for self-discipline, self-defense and health.

    Classes are available Monday and Friday at the Brentwood Community Center.


    Classes are taught by Retired Law Enforcement office Bob Meegan. He is currently a 4th degree Black Belt with the World Tang Soo Do Association and recently recognized by the association  for his 35 years as an instructor.



    Enrollment is continual,

    so you may begin at any point.

    Cost:  $60/single/mo.    $100/family/mo. (2 or more)


    Martial Art classes are back!!! Starting this Friday, July 10th classes will take place outside and will return in the community center after August 21st. FILL OUT COVID WAIVER form that is attached below. You won't be able to participate until Covid form is filled out.     Soccer  Camp

    with Challenger Sports 

     August 9th-13th   

    We are pleased to again partner with Challenger Sports, providers of North America’s most popular soccer camp, to host the week long soccer skills camp August 9th-13th!

    he camp will run from Monday through Friday and each child will be coached by a member of Challenger’s British coaching staff flown to the U.S.A exclusively to work on these programs. Challenger will hold over 3,700 British Soccer Camps this summer and will coach over 150,000 players between the ages of 3 and 18, as well as completing FREE coach education clinics for over 40,000 parents and coaches.

    Challenger’s British Soccer Camp is more than a week of drills and skills. In addition to taking part in a daily regimen of foot skill development (through the 1,000 touches curriculum), technical and tactical practices and daily ‘World Cup’ tournament style plays, each child will be treated to a rich cultural experience and lessons on respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership and sportsmanship. Each camp is custom built to meet the needs of your players so Challenger will be directed by the organization on the content of the camp that they too require.

    Each camper will receive a FREE camp T-shirt, soccer ball, soccer poster, individual skills performance evaluation and free access to an educational soccer website. In addition, any child who signs up online 45 days prior to the start of camp they will receive a genuine British Soccer replica Jersey valued at $35.

     Over 30 Coed Softball


    The season will run from late June through mid-August.


    If you are interested in playing or have a group interested in forming a team, you can register through the Recreation office or register online. Please indicate team name or coach if signing up for a particular team. Individual or team sign-up deadline is Monday, May 31st . Captain's meeting TBA.
