BRENTWOOD RECREATION DEPARTMENT

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I attend meetings?

The public is always welcome to attend Recreation Commission Meetings (fourth Tuesday of the month @ 6:30pm, except November and December), to observe and/or participate. You may also contact the Recreation Department via telephone, postal mail, or in person at the office.

What fields are available for recreational use?

The Recreation Fields include Olson Field, used by the Exeter Junior Baseball League in the Spring and Summer; the Softball Field, used by our Girls Softball teams as well as our Adult Coed Softball League; Babe Ruth Baseball Field:  smaller Farm League baseball and T-Ball fields . We also have a full sized soccer field. All fields are available for public and private use.

See rules and regulation here.

Where is there a place to picnic, or host an event?

Castonguay Pavilion offers 10 picnic tables, has electrical outlets for use, and grills are located nearby. This spot is popular for family and company cookouts in the warmer months, is used regularly throughout the year by the Bowhunters (you'll notice their targets set up in the adjoining field), and a beautiful wedding ceremony has even taken place here.

See form here to reserve the facility.
