REMOTE CARE

Starting Monday, February 1st, 2021 Brentwood Recreation will be opening the Remote Care Program! The Remote Care Program is designed to provide support to Brentwood families who are in need of an affordable In Day Remote Learning Center for the duration of the school day.


Counselors: All of our counselors are first aid and CPR certified, some have more than 3 years of experience with working with children. There will always be 2-3 counselors working and we will have some of our summer camp counselors back!!!

Typical Day Schedule: Students will be placed in groups based on grade and school schedule and as the school day progresses, every student will be required to work on their remote school work as given by their teachers. There will be snack and lunch breaks throughout the day and the Remote Care Counselors will be available for tech/school support for the students. Once the school day is over the students will have time for arts & crafts, movies, outdoor activities, free time and more! 

Schedules: After registering for Remote Care, we ask that parents/guardians to email the Recreation Department their child's school schedule so students can be placed in groups appropriately

Drop Off/Pick up: Children can be dropped off to the Brentwood Community Center as early as 8:00am. Children can be picked up at anytime, but please make sure to have a Driver's ID with you as the counselors will check at pick up. All children must be picked up no later than 5:05pm. There will be a $10 late fee for the first 15 minutes late. There will be an additional $1 late fee for every minute after 5:20pm. 

Capacity: 20 participants will be allowed to attend Remote Care. Any parent/guardian that is interested in registering for Remote Care please register online or contact the recreation office.

Cost: $150 per week/$40 per day (can register for up to 2 single days a week) 

The first 10 people to register for Remote Care will receive a $25 credit towards February Vacation Camp. 

Who can register? K-8th grade. Must be a Brentwood Resident.

Registration: Registrations for Remote Care is open and is evaluated on a weekly basis, incase any grades or the school is forced to go remote due to Covid-19. If you are interested in weekly registrations please pay online. If only interested in single days please pay at the Recreation Office. 

Covid-19 Precautions: The community center will go from 2 cleanings a week to 5, masks will be required (except for high physical activity and snack/lunch breaks), counselors will perform temp checks at sign in, high touched surface areas are wiped down constantly, and more.
